A balustrade makes the perfect finishing touch to any decked area. There are a number of different balustrade systems on the market, but broadly speaking, the most popular options seem to be wood and glass/metal.
Which is the better of these two choices? It all depends on the effect that you're aiming to achieve.

Our design of the week is two sections of Resortdeck Composite Decking to be built flushed to the large windows surrounding two sides of the property.

I have a brilliant heavy duty Thicknesser Planer made by Steton. We bought it off the Wood working shop next door to us when they closed down.
We thought we would have use for it but not really something we use... We did have the whole thing overhauled, and spent over £1000 having a full service, new gear box, motor, digital; read out.... a long list never the less.
