I have had a couple of clients over the last year asking me how to remedy a decking installation done by others made from Sucupeira. A beautiful chocolate brown with a black grain, the timber looks beautiful… but all I see is problems.

Sucupeira – Bowdichia Natida Benth.

Whilst this hardwood timber is not expensive it does move a lot especially with a side fixing system.

Has anyone had similar issues or has anyone installed this to success with a surface fixing technique?
