So sorry for the delay! I haven’t logged on in a while. Our CAMO Hidden System does work great on any type of deckboard! We have the Marksman Pro for composite/capstock/pvc boards with 3/16″ gap. Our Marksman Pro-X1 has a 1/16″ for treated wood. We also have the Marksman Pro-NB for narrow deckboards. Any of our tools can be used with secondary spacers if you are looking for a different size gap.
The screw head is not visible from the surface…but like any hidden system, it’s not invisible. While you can still see the holes if you really look, overall it creates a really nice clean finish.
We’ve done a lot of testing and had a lot of customers use CAMO over the years and have never had a problem with boards popping up or coming loose in any way.
