Bio | Creator of the Decking Network (2012) for professional decking news and information for everyone. I am a Professional landscape gardener with 21 years’ experience. Immersed in professional landscaping, my contribution to the industry standards has led to my position on the committee of the Association of Professional Landscapers. I have been a lead voice in the correct application of exterior timber structures since 2003. I have written the Industry Code of Practice for Timber and Composite Decking for the Association of Professional Landscapers. As a Fellow of the PGCA, I provide services as an expert witness in the following areas:

I created the Decking Network (Online) where I have promulgated professional information pertaining to correct decking construction since 2012. I have been an editorial contributor to professional trade publications for decking. I also contribute to Spons Guide “External Works and Landscape Price Book”. I write for various media and my copy can be found in Homes and Gardens magazine, Home Building magazine and other publications frequently. I lecture, on occasion, to garden design colleges and associations. I am a trainer/Instructure at the TASK Academy which specialises in Landscaping certified by LANTRA. In the past I have been the sole distributor of timber decking for Yvyra decking and cladding for the UK. |
