Commonwealth Park Gibraltar and Exterpark FSC Timber Decking

A leading UK landscape company, Landform Consultants, is leading the project for the Commonwealth Park in, the first public park in Gibraltar.  MD of Landform, Mark Gregory is the principle landscape consultant for the project. The Lead Designer for this project was Nilufer Danis, a Chartered Landscape Architect and garden designer.

Mark spent a great deal of time researching what timber decking to use for the project and took this discussion to Karl Harrison from Karl Harrison Landscapes Ltd. The specified hardwood timber was the Exterpark Plus profile decking system with Elondo being the choice, this decision was based on durability, longevity and certification (FSC)

The overall construction of the new park was managed by Gibraltar Joinery and Building Services; Their site manager is Jeremy Rogers. An incredible public project with attention to detail that would do a high end private landscaping project proud.

The much anticipated Gardens will be open for the public to enjoy in June 2014.

Bespoke curved handrails, radially cut decking boards and many features that showcase what you can do with hardwood decking.

The decorative bridge with curved hand rails.

The main lift and staircase was wrapped in glass and Elondo cladding.
