Suppliers of Millboard Decking in Buckinghamshire stars Country Supplies again. Based in High Wycombe and supplying companies within a 60-mile radius for over 20 years. In this news update, Hatton Garden Landscapes were supplied for a landscaping project in Beaconsfield.

Millboard decking to Beaconsfield

The project featured a contemporary garden room that needed cladding. Hatton called in their partner company Spare Space to take on the design and build of this garden room. The design called for this is to be clad in Millboard “Envello Shadow Line” cladding. The antique oak colour matches the enhanced grain Millboard decking chosen for the boardwalks.

A stepped arrangement using the Millboard Enhanced grain antique oak decking is faultlessly constructed. This decking is perfect when walking around the pool, it’s great in all weathers. Millboard has exceptional anti-slip properties even in the wet. The planting arrangement works well against the Millboard backdrop for the scheme.

Alongside the pool, a contemporary slatted fence using western red cedar battens. A matching bench on the boardwalk using the same western red cedar make for a stylish addition to the project. Country Supplies carries a range of Cedar in the grade “No2 Clears and Better”.

Beaconsfield Landscaping

The project brief was complex and required the entire garden to be raised. Rob Hatton chose to use gabions as retaining walls to support the garden. Self-binding gravel and Rite Edge to create a pathway leading you to the raised planter area.  This was built using new oak sleepers and with planting soil medium to include Grade A soil and compost with green waste fines. At only 6 months in, the plants are vibrant and looking well.
